Close to Busch
The Parkside Resort is in close proximity to Busch Gardens and the Kingsmill Shoppes. The room had full sized appliances, a complete dininng area, as well as, all dishes and cookware you would need to prepare meals. We stayed on the property during spring break with my nieces and nephew they keep asking when are we going back.

location is Busch Gardens fans ... Should be nice when construction is completed. Units are nicely decorated and a good size.

So Close
I loved the Condo. It was very nice. It was located close to Bush Gardens. I was disappointed that the pool and exercise room were not completed. I do appreciate the refund we were promised.

Not AS Close as they Say
excellent condo with good services at the house. The only problem is that for vacationers that are going to Busch Gardens, it is difficult to drive there due to the roads and railroad tracks. As the crow flys, it is close, but driving it iis 10-15 minutes away...somewhat deceptive..we finally found best way there was to walk across tracks and highways

Lovely Stay
the rooms are well done with a great attention to decor but lacks proper cleaning. We even found a used towel with nasal discharge left on the washer. Also the head boards were not dusted. With all this investment, if you do not pay attentiion to the day to day cleaning it is going to be a big lose. Thanks

Nice Place,
Upon arrival, the Parkside resort appeared to be under construction. The office was unfinished and we had to go to one of the units to register and receive our code. The swimming pool was under construction too. Needless to say my first impression was not good. The property looked nothing like the internet pictures (and video) I reviewed before making the decision to rent this property. Once we entered the unit though, we were impressed that it was a spacious, well appointed vacation property. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for my family (4) to sit and watch some televison. The televison sets were very nice flat panel LCDs. There was one in the living room and one in each bedroom. THe kitchen was very nice and stocked with all the dishes, utensiles and pots and pans I could imagine anyone would want. The unit had two bathrooms that were very nice. Be sure to bring toilet paper, soap and shampoo, as the resort supplies are meager. One of the nicest features was a washer and dryer, they supply enough detergent to do two loads of wash. There was a very nice balcony with chairs and a small table, although the mosquitoes keep us inside for the most part. There are train tracks nearby, but I can say that I could hear it when I was in the unit.

Great Vacation
The room was great. Location for our Busch Gardens vacation was perfect. We only had 2 complaints. There were no sheets or extra blankets/towels or pillows. We had no sheets to put on the sleeper sofa and had a total of 5 people staying and only 2 beds. We called and asked that sheets/ towels be brought to the room as we were at the park until late, and they never arrived. We also were a little annoyed with very loud neighbors slamming the outside door continuously throughout the night and they had a dog that barked everytime the door opened. Other than that we had a great time and the place was spacious and comfortable.

Construction
The only thing that was a negative was the construction and the view of it from our patio...It was understandable.

Go When Construction Is Finished
Great location but amenities were not fully available during stay. So we did not feel we got the best value for what we paid.

Busch Gardens Rocks
The unit was very clean and bright. The convenience of having two full size bathrooms is an excellent amenity to have when there are several people in your party. I think the location of the resort places you in minimal travel distance to local attractions. It would be an excellent idea to provide daily shuttle service for trips to Busch Gardens, Water Country and other attractions, perhaps at an additional cost. An onsite store stocked with day to day necessities and a restaurant would provide the guest with everything they need in one location. Having access to Parkside Resort gave me the opportunity to have a relaxing two day get away without having to travel a great distance. I am looking forward to future opportunities to stay at Parkside Resort.

Almost There
Great location. Still in development (under construction) stage. Don't expect the use of amenities. We had two issues. 1. Security lock was not set properly. We could not get into the unit (on the plus side they have secure units). 2. The air conditioning unit was not working. (They wanted to move us, but we were only staying 2 days, and the temp stayed comfortable. Would have been nice to have had some kind of compensaion for the inconveniences. Will be a great resort someday.

Fun Times!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parkside over Easter weekend. It is very close to Busch Gardens and Water Country. This weekend was a Busch Gardens weekend only to celebrate my sons birthday. The unit was great, with everything we needed. There is a key pad lock on the outside hallway that grants entrance to two units. We had a two bedroom, which was plenty of room for three kids and two adults. Since it was cold and we were only there for the theme park, I didn look for the pool. Im not even sure they have one. It looked like they were adding more units, as there was a huge mound of dirt behind our building and a few pieces of construction equipment. We had a view of Appollos Chariot and Griffon from our room. The theme park is directly in front of the condos; however, you should note that in order to get to the park, you have to go back out to the highway (take a right out of the resort and exit onto the highway) and take Highway 60 exit to the park. There is no direct access to the park from the resort.
