GREAT condo very big lots of room great view of the beach and the ocean. big bedrooms nice bathrooms.grills on the outdoor padio.

Just returned from a Spring Break weekend and already looking for another time we can "Escape to the Shores" again. Sapaceous, clean, and very nice. Wonderful view of the ocean off the balcony. Everything we needed was found in the condo. Friendly staff and other guest were very helpful.

The property was beautiful and the condo was very large. Loved the big screen TV in the living area. The bathrooms were great.

We would stay here again. Everything that we seemed to need was in our condo. We had a beautiful balcony view to the ocean and to the beach. We could look down to see the pool while we sat at a table on the balcony.

My wife and left our three children (ages 5,3,&2) with their grandparents and took a desperately needed vacation. I found this property on the internet for what seemed like a pretty good price. Still there was some concern about the quality of the rental because we had absolutely no idea what to expect. Well, we were extremely happy with everything about the Escapes! Right on the beach, very clean, close to restaurants, & close to shopping. If we ever get another vacation, this will be at the top of our list.

Our trip began on a very stormy day. We left from Baton Rouge, Louisiana with fair weather which became stormy and rainy just as we crossed the Mississippi border. Several times I attempted to turn around, but I was encouraged to continue by the last gas station attendant just before entering Orange Beach! I am glad we pressed on anyway. Although our ride was ridiculously stormy and dreary, it was such a relief to find such a great rental. My family was excited about being on the beach and my sons were ecstatic about the weight room. They were particularly relieved that there was an indoor pool to swim in, just in case the rain didn't let up. The next day the weather cleared up nicely and we enjoyed our stay. We would definately come again.

Our vacation rental was for more than I had expected. The two bedroom rental we had was very spacious and accommodated my family well. The decor was so relaxing and the ocean views from the balcony were spectacular and very peaceful in the early morning while drinking my coffee. My ten year old son enjoyed the pool area the most. I was also impressed with the outdoor grilling area and fitness room, which my older children took advantage of daily. We were located so close to family activities and restaurants which was great. I would recommend this rental to everyone and hope to visit again in the near future.

We LOVED Escapes!! It was so nice. We couldn believe how spacious the condo was. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was so nice that we really didn't want to leave. The location was great and the rate was very reasonable. We can't wait to take another vacation to Orange Beach. We will stay at Escapes to the Shores again...no doubt about it!

This is an awesome place to stay, very clean, conveinent. I would recommend this place to anyone heading the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area, in fact I already have. It was great.

Spacious rooms, wonderful views of the beach & gulf. All the amenities that you need. Courteous staff, and the other guest seem to be enjoying their stay also. I will recommend to anyone.

Though the unit was small, it was beautifully decorated and roomy enough for my sister, daughter and I for a 4 night getaway! I thought I might have trouble with no window to the outside, but it was ok. I would love to return to the larger unit with the balcony overlooking the gulf. The pools were beautiful and the staff very accomodating! We will definitely return!

The condo was beautiful and spacious. Perfection. We had a blast and hope to return again.

We were very pleased with the appearance and overall luxury of the resort and our two-bedroom suite. The suite had an open, clean feel to it. The tile flooring accentuated the quality. The pool and beach area were very well maintained. There were several weddings occuring this particular week, so we did not get a chance to enjoy the barbeque area; however, the wedding parties seemed to be having a wonderful time. We also enjoyed the workout facility, which had an ample amount of equipment. There was an auction going on the particular week we were there, which did lend to hassles on the elevators and lots of people milling about throughout the day.

My family and I visted Escapes the Shores in July of 2009. Escapes is absolutly beautiful inside and out! When we arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us our key and directions for the best way to get to our condo. Ill admit at this moment the only thing I was ready to see was the beach. Escapes is located on a beautiful part of the beach. I was very glad that we were not near any fishing piers as we have had a bad experience with that in the past. When we arrived in our room we were blown away with how big and cozy the condos were. The master bed room was wonderful, we loved the nice big showers and whirlpools! The view was outstanding, and I loved the window in the master bedroom. We had a very spacious patio overlooking the beach. I would have liked some more comfy chairs on the patio though. The indoor and outdoor pool area was very nice, I think we spent more time in the pool than anywere else. One night we grilled out on the hotel grills by the pool this was so much fun! I know there were a few nights we were not able to use the grills because of weddings. I could see that some people were a little upset about that, but we understood that it was someones special day. Escapes is only a few miles from some of the best restuants at Gulf Shores. Overall, our trip was amazing and we look forward to comming back to Escapes very soon!!!

Hoping that the one bedroom had a balcony so that we could look out at the beach but it did not have one. We really could have been at any hotel anywhere without this feature to remind us that we were at the beach but we were close enough to it and sure took advantage of it during our vacation. This is a really nice place with really nice people. We spent most of our time strolling along the beach just seeing everything that there was. Second most of our time was spent at the pool for when we wanted a little break from the sand.

Super Nice Place and Great Service!

we had 6 adults and 3 kids and chose a 3 bedroom suite which was HUGE! we were very impressed with the size of the unit and bedrooms. very nice decor, lots of amenities, great pool area, great outdoor cooking area, beautiful view from balcony and great beach area. Only complaint - we could not use the pools (visited over Easter) because both indoor and outdoor were freezing!

Escape to the Shores was more than I expected froom a condo at their asking price. The condo was spacious, clean, attractive and comfortable. The view was breath taking with easy accessiblility to the beach. After following the clean up directions at the completion of our stay, there were no unexpected charges. My guests were all enamored by the quality of accommodations and the beauty of Orange Beach. One couple has expressed their desire to use their time share to swap for a stay at The Shores.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had our children with us and they had so much fun. The people were very nice and willing to do what ever they could do to make your stay feel like home. It wasnt just one or two people willing to help it was the whole staff from the front desk workers to the housekeepers they were all very nice people. It was very clean and the enviroment was wonderful we did not have to worry about what our two young children might hear or see. It was a wonderful place to take a family vacation.The location was great also because you were not to far from the main attractions of Orange Beach. We have told everyone we know about it and when we return to Orange Beach in the future this is where we will be staying.

We accidentally discovered The Escapes at the Shores thru a MapQuest link. We booked it only 2 days in advance & felt extremely BLESSED to have received such an awesome deal. The price was excellent and the 3 br condo was HUGE. We had no idea "what to expect" when we opened the door to our room and we were amazingly surprised. Large (we are a family of 5), CLEAN, and nice! Loved the shower in the master bath. Very wise to have ceramic tile floors (because of sand). Everything was provided upfront -- laundry detergent included. The indoor pool was nice when you felt you had too much sun or in the event of a rain shower. The outdoor pool was nice but could stand to be bigger -- it was too crowded. The vending machines were out of order and 1 of the 2 elevators was inoperable upon arrival but they soon got it fixed. The front desk ladies were extremely friendly and ready to call me on my cell as soon as our room was ready for occupancy! We only got to stay for 4 nights. Can't wait to go back!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay for families! Lots to do out of the sun too.

Condo was not ready on time. Front desk looked over me 2 times and let other go ahead of me. The space was great for the amount of time we were there. Other than the room not being ready and staff in the front. Everyone else was nice.

The building was GORGEOUS but the 1 bedroom is extremely small. Maybe a better description of that. We would stay there again!

nice unit, nice location.

My family and I were very impressed and completely satisfied with our condo rental at The Shores. We originally rented a 2 bdrm and we were upgraded to a 3 bdrm that my family thought was just awesome. The condo was very spacious with quality furnishings, the location was also excellent. When we returned home we told all our extended family and friends that The Shores is a great place to vacation. Im sure we will return for future vacations.

The Shores definitely impressed us. Everything was beautiful. The beach is wonderful. We loved the grills outside by the pool with the gazebo! We were very satisfied with our room although it was a bit small but definitely enough for two people. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean. We will definitely stay here again and would definitely reccommend friends!! Thank You!

The only real problem we ran into was the lack of luggage carts and the resort only having two elevators. We spent way to much time waiting for elevators and actually wound up making several trips to load our luggage when we left. Overall it wasn't a huge problem. We would stay there again.

It was nice and clean and the condo was very big and spacious. The only thing I wish was that it would have had Wifi.

Excellent in every way. We had a 3 br and we were "shocked" when we opened the door for the first time & realized the "size" (2300 sq foot). Only used outdoor pool once b/c we loved the beach but would have used it more if it had been larger and more accomodating. Some of the vending machines were out of order. HIGHLY recommend the accomodations and the price was right.

great place, great view, good price

The kitchen was minimally outfitted--just the very basics. If you want to bake, take some pans and a cookie sheet. And a non-stick fry pan would have been nice. But my only real complaint was that something in the duct work or pipes made a big noise every few minutes, disturbing my sleep. But I would go back in a heartbeat--it was a big, beautiful condo in a great location right on the beach and we loved it! King size beds, luxurious bathrooms, big balcony, great pool--it had it all. The people at the desk were helpful and very nice.

Great property, huge condo!

kitchen was very poorly stocked for a large, fairly new condo. We didn have enough dishes, cups, rags, bowls, pots and pans. We rented a condo and planned to cook and eat there. Glasses were cheap and too small. We had to run the dishwasher practically for every meal b/c there weren't enough of the above. We asked for more glasses- maids came by and told there weren't any more. Pans were so thin and cheap, many things burned (eg grilled cheese). Also, the kitchen trash can was the size youd put in a bathroom. Trash bags were cheap as well. Asked maid for larger can-again told there weren't any. You can expect to have 5-6 people in a 3 BR condo for 4 days, eating in most of the time and have them use a tiny trash can. We probably wouldn't return due to the poorly stocked kitchen. Don't intend to bring my own mixing bowls, plates, etc. on vacation.

We liked our one bedroom condo which was very nice but the kitchen was small. We tried to cook breakfast but it was even to small for that. We had nice stay anyway and were happy with condo. The staff was …pleasant. Nothing went wrong. Before we left we made sure to tidy up the room because we didn want to get charged any maintenence fees. Oh... we had a little trouble finding the place because its not marked that well. If you can't find it look for the fountain because that walkway leads to the entrace of the resort.

Our room overlooked the pool and the beach and we could not have had a nicer time. The window in our bedroom looked out over the beach and our bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a glass walk in shower with two shower heads. There was so much room in the bathroom and the lighting was very romantic. Our two bedroom condo had comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked. Everything was very clean. The other guests at the resort ranged from children to older people but everyone was very friendly just like the staff. There are activities for families during the week.

The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The room were supplied with everything you need from towels to dish washing detergent. Im happy we found this place because it made for a good vacation as well. The living area and kitchen were nice and big and I liked having a full refrigerator in the kitchen. There was even a full dining area with a table that we could eat at. We spent a lot of time at the pool and at the beach but when we came home we also liked that there were so many channels to watch on the flatscreen TVs.

Pool was not heated as advertised but that didn't even really ruin our trip. Everything was wonderful! Our experience was quiet and we were welcomed by a friendly staff that was there to answer any of our questions. I was new to Orange Beach and was impressed at how friendly everyone was at helping you get around. The fireplace in the courtyard added a charming touch to the hotel. Whether you were outside or inside an escape to the shores is a beach experience that you will remember. Hope your time is as good as mine!
