Ocean Drive Beach and Golf Resort

Had a wonderful stay there Beds are a little hard but other than that the resort was nice.The staff was helpful friendly-and american.The only regret I had was I booked through a third party and did not get the room I wanted.If you want a king sized bed and a non smoking room make sure you book directly with the resort not a third party. I would stay there again it is a very nice place

Customer service here is really good and there were no hassles when we checked in. North Myrtle Beach is terrific for family vacations but its a bit boring for teenagers. There were a lot of young kids in the pool, shouting their heads off. We really liked the lazy river and the beach and those see through elevators that whiz about are very impressive. I would have liked our room to have a conventional oven as well as a microwave and my back is still sore from the very hard beds. All in all, I would recommend it to families.

We keep coming back here because, despite it being quite expensive, we feel we get value for money. Theres really nothing bad to say about it. The location is very good and the sands are so smooth. We can walk to really good restaurants and its a great hotel for a family vacation. My kids love it too and the views are impressive. We all have fun in the lazy river and I enjoy my morning run on the expansive beach. I also make use of the well equipped exercise room. If the weather had been unseasonable and poor, we could have used the indoor pool. As for the accommodation itself, the staff keep it clean and the bathrooms are good. Our kitchen was small this time but it had a refrigerator, microwave oven and a stove. We ate the tasty breakfast buffet the hotel provided. We were also impressed by how the hotel security staff handled a group of drunk, loudmouth college kids. Well done to them!
