1849 Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge

Staying at the condos was actually the highlight of the trip for the kids. We had a 4BDRS condo and there was so much space! They got to run around and play and never felt cramped. The condo was nicely appointed so that the adults could enjoy the stay as well. It felt like we were at home so we could all just relax and not feel out of place. With such a big family it is best to be at a place where there is room and you can actually relax. What good is a vacation if you cannot relax and be peaceful. Very nice time.

Our stay was so great. The staff was so helpful that it didn't make our trip bad at all. Its nice to stay at a place that treats its guests well. This made a big difference since we could have potentially not have gotten a room at all.

The management is very informative and helpful. Stayed there only one trip but was treated like they had known us from times before. We kept waiting for them to realize that they didn't actually know us but they kept being so friendly. Well maintained land surrounded the clean and comfortable condo. We had a fun time and liked that it was also close to attractions. You get a lot for what you pay for so we won't consider going anywhere else next time we come to Mammoth. It has everything that you could want for a vacation.

Our favorite part of the 1849 condos is the convenient walking distance to the chairlits. If you come to Mammoth to ski there is no better place to stay. Its perfect for the beginning and the end of the day. You never have to go out of your way when you just want to hit the slopes or come home and get out of all your gear. We keep coming back (have been 3 times) because of the good price also. Such grate hotel accomodations aren't always found so close to the snow, with your own condo and underground parking is a nice feature.

The Canyon Lodge lift at Mammoth Mountain is a popular place for skiiers. 1849 is located right up the hill from this area so you can't really get much closer to the snow. We like that you can choose between 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms depending on the size of your travel party. Sometimes we ski with a small group but sometimes we invite a lot of friends and we always think of checking out the 1849 condos first. Its the best place to stay if you want to spend the entire day in the snow you don't have to miss any ski time by taking a shuttle to the lifts. Its right there.
