Seabrook Island is a private resort community just 21 miles from historic Charleston, SC. Guests can enjoy world-class tennis courts at the Tennis Center, and play either of the two verdant golf courses on the island, as well as several other local courses. The Equestrian Center on the island offers both trail rides for all riding levels, and beach rides for more experienced riders. The Bohicket Marina has shopping and dining, and several water tours leave from the docks. There is great shopping and dining at Freshfields Shopping Village. Within a short ride, guests can participate in wine tastings or visit the only Tea Plantation in America. The Angel Oak, perhaps the oldest living thing east of the Mississippi, is a quick car ride away. Downtown Charleston offers shopping, dining, art, music, dance and theatre only 45 minutes from Seabrook Island. Our comfortable villas are between 25 yards and 3 miles from the beach, and offer a respite for guests looking to lose themselves in the lush woodlands, placid lagoons and tranquil marshes, or enjoy the 3-mile expanse of beach bordering the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphins and pelicans are familiar sights along the coast, and deer are often seen browsing along the edge of the woods or drinking at an island pond. All properties offer completely furnished living and dining areas, and have fully equipped kitchens which include cookware, silverware and dishes. Amenities include color cable TV, VCR or DVD player, telephone, microwave, and central heating and air conditioning. All linens except beach towels are provided and, in most properties, a washer/dryer. Non-smoking properties are available upon request.
