Morgans Cove Resort and Hard Rock Casino

This hotel has such a friendly and helpful staff and it is set in lovely grounds. Some iguanas have made a home here. They are wonderful to see and completely harmless. Macaws had made a home too, in one of the trees. The manager is called Jose and he looked after us and couldn't have been nicer. I like the details like the housekeeper leaving a towel animal when she did the room. The rooms are comfy and have all the amenities you need. They cook natural food and it was very tasty. The views of the mountains are worth seeing and I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing break in great scenery.

The location was fantastic. It was like staying on our private island.

Weve never stayed at the hotel overnight yet but we went to the Hard Rock Resort when they opened the refurbished casino. We are not really gamblers, it was the restaurant that really appealed, as they had a new chef and we wanted to try it out. I had a sirloin steak, which was delicious, in an equally tasty sauce. In fact, Ive never had as good a steak in my life, all from American cuts of beef apparently. The service was really good too. When we return to the area, I am definitely coming back for more. They even put on some entertainment in the form of a dramatic thunder storm! We sheltered under the outdoor canopy. Im sure the hotel is just as good as the restaurant and we are looking forward to staying there one day.

I don't usually do reviews but the service here was so good. After I booked and paid for some rooms for a bachelor party, some of my friends cancelled and one of the rooms was surplus to requirements. When I arrived, I told a member of staff my sorry tale and asked for mercy. Unbelievably, he gave me a refund straightaway. I thought it was worthwhile to write this and tell people. OK, so this isn't a luxury place but the grounds are well maintained and its clean. I think it is charming and its worth coming here just for the staff.

I have stayed in Morgans Cove Resort a few times before and I would definitely return again. To me, its perfect as a beachfront location with lots of facilities that make it a relaxing vacation, such as private parking. My usual routine is to chill out in the mornings and walk off my lunch in the afternoons. Theres a bar I like to go to where I can order a beer and watch the sun go down. Its party time at night and there are lots of restaurants with great food. I also frequent the sports bar and play a little tennis. All this for a very competitive price and I can recommend it highly enough.
