Kuhio Banyan Club

Weve been to the area a few times but have always checked in to the Hilton, paying our $600 a night. I wish wed come to the Kuhio Banyan Club before though. After a friend recommended it, we decided to try it out. The result was we saved a ton of money and preferred it to the Hilton. If only wed found it before! Its a hotel type condo that really suits us and it could challenge any of those 5 star resorts. It wasn't too noisy, just families with young kids and couples. Its a safe site and the recently upgraded hotel has clean rooms to a high standard. There are some terrific restaurants around and we could walk a short distance to the beach. We would recommend it here, especially to anyone seeking a honeymoon destination or romantic break.

There was just the two of us, my daughter and myself, so there was enough space in the rooms, although they are small. A bigger party could always use the twin beds that convert from the love seat and the sofa. I had read a review about the Murphy bed being hard, so I asked the staff for an egg crate foam, which they organised straight away. We had a great time and Im glad I used my final RCI week in Waikiki. The rooms were clean, (unusually, there was a closet in the bathroom). It was a good location with buses stopping right outside. They can take too much luggage though. We did hire a car just for one day. The backpack beach chairs are a nice touch and the other equipment they supply, as well. If you don't use any of this, however, you still have to pay the fee, around $70. I would stay at this condo again, happily.
