Island Seas Resort

Located near calm and warm caribeean waters, so peaceful. Best place to stay in Freeport.

I've been traveling to the Bahamas for 9 years and I love this resort. Staff is great and the beaches are even better. Quiet and relaxed area that doesn't really have a nightlife. Slow down and relax with the locals!

We were origianlly concerned about transportation, because we did not plan on renting a car. The resort offers a shuttle into town everyday which was very convienent. The resort itself is very relzing, laid back and quiet. The staff was very helpful and kind. Only downfall is if you are looking for nightlife you will have to go into town. The resort only has minimal entertainment.

When we first got to the resort we got to check in early which was very nice. The resort had very nice views of the pool and ocean. Clean rooms and the staff was ok. We at the Resort and also in town, both were very very tastie! Locals are not always nice to tourists.

Whether you are traveling with friends, family or by yourself, the Island Seas Resort will be your family away from home. Everyone was so helpful in helping you find your way. The rooms were beautfully decorated and nice and clean for our arrival. The welcome basket had my favorite beverage, "COFFEE", and I was very happy when I made myself a cup. The activities were off the hook!! We enjoyed the karoke at the coconut bar the barn fire, fish fry, tour of the Island and all of the Bahmama Mamas we could handle! We met beautifu people, enjoyed an outing on a yacht by invitation, danced the night away on a steak and lobster cruise and in Port Lucaya. We loved the beach, the weather was great and the food was yummy, yummy! My best friend and I are both widowers, 58 and 69 and we both take care of big families. We were happy and feeling great at the resort. We have traveled together before to Hilton Head, but we never had this much fun. We are definitely coming back and bringing some of our stressed out friends that need a break!! Thank you Island Seas Resort for a great time!!

Our room was beautiful. The resort itself was also beautifula dn the people are friendly. The beahch is amazing. We had fun in Port Lacaya and the food was very very good. I wish the shuttle made more runs between noon and 3.

Our condo had a nice view of the pool, but could stand a little updating. The floors were dirty. we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend a car. The grocery store nearby is lacking in choices and is quite expensive. All in all we had a nice wekk though and the price can't be beat.

Resort is very layed back, very relaxing and quiet. Even though they did have entertainment , If you are going looking for night life you need to go into town. The people working there were very pleasant and helpful. The units were spacious and clean. don't forget a good book, youll find you have plenty of time to read. We felt it was very pretty and even though we traded the owners were very friendly and we came home with new friends and rested. Loved it and plan to trade again.

me and my two friends spent a week here and foudn it very relaxing. The check-in process is lengthy for some reason, they don't seem to ever clean the floors in the room, but the beautiful beach and friendly staff made up for their short-comings.The furnishings were very nice and the room had plenty of room for all of us. Having a kitchen was very convenient and saved us money on food. It was great to grab a drink or snack whenever we felt like it. Port Lucaya has some great restaurants and we particulary enjoyed Agave, friendly staff and great service.
