Capri by the Gulf

We really enjoyed our stay at Capri by the Gulf. The rooms were clean and updated. I liked the fact that you could walk out ... of your room directly out on to the beach and that there were no big crowds because of the size of the condo itself. I would, and have highly recommended this place to my friends. It was a wonderful get away for both of us.

Our condo was cozy and spotless and had a FULLY stocked kitchen and nice leather lazy boys als well as two other comfortable chairs. The 52" pasma TV was a huge bonus. The bed was moderately comfortable and there was even a desk setup witha leather executive chair and free wi-fi service. the bathroom was very clean and we always had plenty of hot water. The beach was only steps away and it was an amazing beach at that! the white sands were absolutely beautiful and the the property even offers free umbrellas and chairs for the beach. I can't think of one reasonable bad thing to say about the place. It was great. Also: there are two parking places reserved for each unit, which I thought was nice. It's centrally located too, convenient to Destin's many fine entertainment/shopping/dining opportunities.Shopping tip, Short Drive Check out the Silver Sands Outlet Mall while you're there if you have time. Most outlet malls promise big savings but don't really deliver. Not only does this one deliver on the savings, but it's a designer name only mall -- and has the distinction of being the largest of its kind in the country.

Each condo at Capri by teh Gulf is equipped with amenities you would expect in a home. Parking is directly in front of each unit and the beach is adjacent to the property. Daily room cleaning service is not provided and a very small cleaning charge is added to your bill. We found this property to be a welcome change from the hotels and motels we had been staying at for the previous three weeks and would definitely stay here again.

If your'e hte type that would enjoy a view of the beautiful gulf beach, this is the place to be. it's easy to get to and located next to all you can possible need. The place has been in the area for 30 years and the owners have done a wonderful job of updating the place. It is the best kept secret in the area.

A bit expensive but worth it. Beautifully decorated condo with ALL amenities provided (linens, dishes, silverware,etc.). ... Condo units are mere steps from private beach. So much nicer than a high rise hotel where you have to walk to the beach from across the street. Umbrella and beach chairs provided for free. Very quiet, peaceful, and romantic location for couples retreat. Very friendly staff. Will be going back soon. Only one bad thing: central air conditioning did not work well at all and there was no ceiling fan in the bedroom. Ceiling fan in the living room did provide some comfort.

Wonderful location. Ceiling fans could have used a little more attention in cleaning, but everything else was great. Highly recommend to anyone.

My family has been vacationing in Destin for years.We have stayed many places but none with a better location or value. It is located directly on the beach.Chairs and umbrellas were included and that was great.The beach was not overly crowed since it is a small complex. It was very clean which is essencial to my family.It was well stocked with anything we needed in the kitchen. The lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. If you are looking for a good bargain and want the convience of being directly on the beach then Capri By The gulf is a great place to stay. If making memories and relaxing on the beach is what you are looking for then this you will enjoy your stay.

Very clean, well-furnished, convenient to local amenities, right on the beach; will stay there again as soon as possible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and are determined to return. It was just what we needed. It was as clean as a pin, and the staff was gracious and kind. We recommend this site!

We really enjoyed our stay at Capri by the Gulf. The rooms were clean and beach access and service was great. The only thing that would have make it perfect is if we had had a private patio off our room. But I did notice they had a few rooms that did if you want that. I would definately stay there again.

We loved everything except they didn't have a pool and when we requested more towels they never brought them. They must have forgot but we needed them.

Over all it was ok but the bath room,shower etc need an update
