River Mountain Lodge by ResortQuest

Our trip was only two days and when we booked online we got a really great deal. It was almost unbelievable. You wouldn't think that an entire ski resort could be accessible for motel rates. It was exactly what we were hoping for though. Breckenridge is one of my favorite places to sk so if you're not familiar with the area Id give it a try over Vail or Aspen. And see what deals are available online at River Mountain. You won't be disappointed with the clean rooms, convenient location and cozy mountain feel for your ski trip.

5 adults were able to stay very comfortable in a two bedroom, two bath unit for a week. The resort is near everything but is a little noisy. Our room was right near a shuttle stop that you could hear in the middle of the night. I'm sure not all rooms are like this but its what we happened to experience at the time. Right behind our room there was a path that you could hike along and then it fed out into Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are. Everything is clean and tidy and we had no trouble at all during check in or check out. When you go hope that the hot tub is working because that sounded really relaxing but it seemed to be out of order the night that we decided to use it.

I wasn't sure what to think, but I was traveling with my family and the price was right. We stayed at River Mountain Lodge for a week and were glad that we did! I would definitely go back. Few places really make you feel like you're at home. It wasn't like I was with my family at a hotel, it was like we were at a relatives mountain home. You walk outside and are right at the Blue River. Down a little ways is the main Breckenridge area. Its nice to see all the town has to offer from your room. Our room was on the third floor and had a private hot tub. It makes us want to return to the area for another vacation.

This is not an ultra luxurious place, but if you want a good location thats clean and mellow then this place will do just fine. Some of the furnishing and décor are a little old but again its not a fancy place its good if you want to be by town and by the snow. Theres a small pool for the summer which doesn't suit any major swimming but kids will like it. Secure underground parking is convenient if you bring a car and really everything about this place is convenient. We liked the bar that was in the lobby. Friendly bartender and staff in general.

We stayed on the East end which much be significantly more quiet than other parts of the lodge because we didn't have a problem with noise at all. (Some reviews I've read said that the noise level was loud) I found our stay very enjoyable. We just a had a one bedroom but it was everything that we needed. Even had LCD TV screens which I was not expecting. Can't complain about a king size bed and walking distance to shopping. The snow comes right up to your room where you can curl up by the fireplace after a day of skiing.
