Ludlow

Summer or winter, Ludlow is the perfect destination. The Okemo Mountain Resort attracts visitors throughout the year. Skiers and boarders enjoy this family friendly resort for all abilities, where there are fabulous runs, a superpipe, and terrain parks. Other activities include ice-skating, basketball, swimming, tennis, and golf on two 18-hole courses. The Nordic Center maintains cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Many original buildings remain in the town and are fine examples of New England architecture. The Black River Academy Museum tells the story of the early settlers through artifacts and historic buildings, including a restored classroom from around 1900. The museum is a former High School and President Calvin Coolidge was a student. Spectacular scenery is all around Ludlow and one of the most popular sights is Buttermilk Falls, just north of the town. Three drops make up the falls and the tallest one is 15 feet.
