Get ready for one of the biggest air shows in the South East with this year’s Blue Angels Air Show! Hosted by the United States Navy, the Blues flight is scheduled to take off at 2:00 PM July 10th 2010 and is free and open to the public. Preview the outstanding demonstrations of the choreographed piloting skills that are possessed by our very own military personnel. The Naval Aviators will showcase their graceful acrobatic maneuvers with a Diamond Formation that consists of four planes in a fast high-speed display with two additional solo pilots.
As a grand finale the team will illustrate their high level precision flying with a six-jet Delta Formation all moving in unison. Kids will love seeing the planes in action, and adults will be astounded by the talent and skill that goes into operating one of these flying wonders. Our military hosts this event each year and there will be plenty of other activities and refreshments available to the visitors.
