Get out the face paint and bring along a 12-pack because this weekend is about to get sweeter with some irresistible Super Bowl travel deals. Instead of staying home and taking in the game through the eyes of your living room, get out to where all the action is and save money as you go. You don't have to travel out to Southern Florida where the game is taking place, in fact, there are two alternatives that are just about as exciting.
Take a trip to the competing teams' home towns for anticipating and pure energy that can only be matched in the Super Bowl bleachers itself. Both Indianapolis, Indiana (the Colts' home town) and New Orleans, Louisiana (home of the Saints) will be busting with celebratory opportunities. There will be sweet deals on all major hotels and vacation rentals in both of those areas as they are expecting an influx of visitors between tomorrow and Sunday.
There is even a bet between the general managers of two of the major hotels in Indianapolis and New Orleans. The loosing team's general manager has to parade the winning team's home town in public places wearing the winner's football team colors. Football spirit doesn't get any better than that.
