You will be given a chance to purchase rare and exotic produce from vendors that make it out to the Palm Spring area but once a year just for the National Date Festival and County Fair event. Watch in amazement as this festival calls for the strange and amusing tradition of camel racing. Trained professionals try their luck at a loping camel or ostrich race that always ends with a surprise.
The National Date County Fair features livestock from local farms, and some will offer strange and exotic animals for purchase. There will be over 1,000 exhibits including gems, minerals, arts and crafts inspired by this art of the middle-east. There will be many contests, as well as live musical entertainment from band performances to musical presentations. There will even be a National Date Festival and County Fair Arabian Nights Pageant.
