Filled with hitoric reenactment villages, incredible museums, and amazing outlet shops, there are never ending Williamsburg activities to enjoy with your family. Now after much planning and anticipation, one of the main attractions in this Virginia town is about to go through a major change. Busch Garden Williamsburg has announced their plans to revamp several of the rides buildings that comprise the theme park.
Thousands upon thousands of visitors travel out of this colossal amusement park to experience its thrills, entertainment, and yearly festivals. This year, Busch Gardens will be replacing at least two of its iconic attractions: the Old Corkscrew Hill simulator ride and the Emerald Beast Show at the Abbey Theater. The Corkscrew's replacement will be known as "Europe in the Air" and will give the riders a chance to dive over some of the most memorable replica sites of Europe.
The new show to replace the Emerald Beast Show will feature a large cast and crew of Irish actors, dancers, singers, and musicians. As the park reopens on March 26th, 2010, the new Busch Gardens attractions will be available for visitors' enjoyment on this very same upcoming spring day. Theme Park News Direct did a report on the status of these changes to the Busch Gardens Williamsburg activities that details its progress.
