Every year Tybrisa Street welcomes cheery travelers from across the nation for one of the most celebrated of the Tybee Island activities; The Christmas Parade. This southern Island stays hoppin' through the cold months as the relatively mild weather and laid back natives ring in the holiday season with a grand display of lights and floats. Memorial Park comes alive and when all is said and done, there is still plenty to do throughout the Island and even offshore in Savanahh or one of the famous surrounding locations.

The Christmas Parade begins at 3:00 PM on December 12th and will last until early evening. There will even be a Children's Christmas Party held after the Parade so even the little ones will have a Christmas tradition just for them. Enjoy views of the signature lighthouse and sip hot cocoa as you gaze out into the sea at the unforgettable Tybee Island Sunset.

That's not all, there are plenty of other great activites to take on in the winter months such as:

1.Welcome the New Year with the Polar Bear Plunge

2. Don't miss Whale Calving Season at the Tybee Island Marine Scieance Center

3. Learn the rich history of the Island at the Light Station

If you live in or are travelling to the island, make sure to add the Tybee Island Christmas Parade to your itinerary.
