If you're planning to visit Orange Beach and considering a standard hotel room because you're convinced that it's only a place to sleep, stop right there and read this because if you're not considering an Orange Beach condo, you're probably going to regret it.
Just think about what a standard hotel room offers guests – two beds, one bathroom, a microwave, coffee maker and maybe even a small fridge. But that's it. Now think about what a condo has to offer – living areas, full or gourmet kitchens, more than one bedroom and one bath and all the other conveniences of home. Plus, when you compare the cost of a weekly Orange Beach condo rental to that of a hotel, you're going to save money while living the good life. If the allure of an Emerald Coast vacation is beckoning, then an Orange Beach condo is your best choice.
Now that we've overcome that objection, here are some of my favorite Orange beach condos:
- Turquoise Place defines luxury and sophistication on the shores along the Gulf Coast. Elegantly appointed three-bedroom and three and a half bath villas feature sprawling accommodations with unbelievable gourmet kitchens, wet bars, Jacuzzi spas, gas grills on the balconies, gas fireplaces in the living rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, sundeck, lazy river, kids playground and the list goes on. This stunning place has to be seen to be believed. It's also among the priciest places to stay but worth every dollar!!!
- Escape to the Shores condos are practically brand new and opened just last year in 2008. Well appointed villa accommodations, ranging from studios to 3-bedroom units, feature gourmet kitchens, covered balconies and all the extra room and comfort you expect in a villa, not to mention the sweeping views of the sugar-white sands and emerald sea. Note that only two- and three-bedroom villas offer balconies while studios and one-bedrooms do not.
- Grand Pointe condos feature indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, sauna and steam rooms, and well-appointed villas with gourmet kitchens that offer panoramic views of the Gulf just outside your door! Just a short walk away is SanRoc Cay where you'll find shopping, two of the best restaurants in Orange Beach, fishing charters and art galleries.
- Wind Drift located on the edge of Orange Beach just outside Gulf Shores puts you in the middle of all the excitement of these two Emerald Coast cities. From one- to three-bedroom villas, you'll have all the comforts of home on the shores of the Gulf. This resort features outdoor pools, tennis courts, and more than 32 miles of beach right outside your door.
