Orange Beach Golf Courses

Orange Beach golf courses are a true golfer's paradise amid the world-class fairways spread out along the marshes and wetlands of some of the most pristine and idyllic landscapes you'll find in Alabama. Among the signature golf courses in Orange Beach or nearby Gulf Shores, you're sure to find challenge and adventure for all levels of expertise. Check out these top-rated Orange Beach golf courses when planning your vacation getaway:

  • Orange Beach Golf Center is a nine-hole golf course offers medium sized greens and plenty of water hazards. This course also offers a driving range and additional tees for playing 18 holes and is pretty much the only Orange Beach golf course.
  • Craft Farms in Gulf Shores, just a short ride away, offers the only two Arnold Palmer golf courses in the state of Alabama. Cotton Creek and Cypress Bend, rated 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest, feature meandering fairways and bunkers at every hole.  After you've played your best game, stop by the Arnold Palmer Dining Room or the Cotton Creek Grill for a delicious lunch or dinner.
  • Woodlands at Craft Farms, also in Gulf Shores, offers shorter distance but plenty of bunkers, marshes and lakes surrounding the tree-lined the fairways throughout this course designed by Larry Nelson.
  • Topping the list of Orange Beach golf courses with a 5-star rating is the Golf Club of the Wharf. These newly redesigned fairways challenge golfers with a new experience on every green including some pretty tough bunkers to get past amid some of the most picturesque landscapes in Gulf Shores.  Rounding out the experience is an elegant club house. Just a small note that this is a private course.
  • Perdido Bay Golf Club is only ten miles away in nearby Pensacola but offers a premier golf experience on the site that served as the home to the Pensacola Open for ten years. The course is very long and narrow and features Salam Paspalum grass on basically flat greens. You can also hone your skills on the driving range, and chipping and putting greens.  Finally, there's a brand new club house with pro-shop.
  • Gulf State Park Golf Course in Gulf Shores is about a 10-minute ride from Orange Beach and offers a decent experience for a very reasonable price. Although steep bunkers guarding the greens and doglegs offer challenge, not much water comes into play along the entire course. Great for beginners or if you're golfing on a dime.

As you see, if you're planning an Orange Beach golf vacation, you've come to the right place.  With such a vast selection of world-class championship courses to choose from along this stretch of the Emerald Coast, you'll find variety regardless of skill level waiting for all golfers looking for a great Orange Beach golf course experience.
