- Journey into the past and 1,000 feet into the mountain to see the Country Boy Mine. Imagine what life was like in the days when Breckenridge was a prospering mining community?

- January is when the International Snow Sculpture Championships are held and where you can see and vote on 20-ton blocks of snow carved into stunning works of art! Also, Breckenridge hosts the "Ullympics," a week long celebration to honor Ullr, the mythical Norse God of Snow. Some of the zany festivities include the Ullr bonfire and Fest Parade on Main Street.
- February brings Mardi Gras to the Rocky Mountains with the N'awlins in the Mountain on Fat Tuesday, the Bacchus Ball and the crowning of the Mardi Gras King and Queen with all the carnival flare and Cajun fun of New Orleans.

- April 1-19 is the Breckenridge Spring Massive Festival featuring live entertainment, music, family fun and the "Bite of Breckenridge" culinary experience that will tantalize your taste buds as you dine your way around downtown bistros.
