- Dolphin Cruises at Bear Point Marina offers a 1½ hour cruise along the intra-coastal waterway to seek out and observe these denizens of the sea at play. Afterwards, grab a bite to eat at Flipper's Seafood and Oyster Bar located at the marina.
- Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum, located in the original old school house of Orange Beach is home to exhibits showcasing the history of the American Indians who inhabited this area and the heritage of the early sailors who called Orange Beach home. Dozens of artifacts donated by local families are on display and the best part is that admission is free!
- Adventure Island is home to the only volcano is Orange Beach, well almost. It's the centerpiece of this small amusement park just down Perdido Beach Blvd and it blows steam synchronized with music, a real treat for the family. Your kids will love the go-carts, bumper boats, arcade, roller coast and other thrills.
- Gulf State Park offers more than 6,000 acres of pristine Alabama wilderness bordering on the bay and on the Gulf! This coastal ecosystem is protected by the state and offers visitors a chance to get up close and personal with nature. You can also camp amidst the wilderness or stay in a cozy rustic cabin. Lots of trails and fishing abound.
- The Gulf Coast Zoo in nearby Gulf Shores is home to more than 300 animals including lions and tigers and bears, oh my, monkeys, parrots and more! There's also a petting zoo to entertain the kids.
