Chef's Cup Dinner Makes Winter Park Foodies Rejoice

Winter Park Chefs Cup DinnerThe 27th Annual Chef’s Cup Dinner and Dance and Silent Auction takes place on January 22nd, 2010 at the Winter Park Ski Resort in Colorado. Known locally as the ‘Taste of Grand County’, the best chefs and 10 - 15 restaurants in the area come together to provide the finest food at the West Portal Station from 7pm.

They do not charge for their services, as the event is a fundraiser in support of the Winter Park Competition Center youth ski and snowboarding programs. More than 400 people are expected and they will be asked to vote for the most outstanding gourmet food. All this and live music and dancing too!

Parallax Dinners Bring Fine Dinning to Mammoth

Parallax Snowcat DinnersOne of the highlights of the calendar of events in Mammoth in California is the Parallax Snowcat Dinners, which run during the winter season, starting on December 18th – 20th, 2009.

It’s a high altitude adventure followed by gourmet dining. The evening begins with a champagne reception and then a ride up Mammoth Mountain on a luxury snowcat to the Parallax Restaurant at the Main Lodge.

The finest American cuisine is served and then it’s a snowcat ride back down the mountain. Dinner is three courses and there is an extensive wine menu and a full bar.

Reservations are required in advance.
Tickets are $79 for Adults, $29 for Children (12 and under).
Seatings are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and during holiday periods.

Following the first dates, December 18th – 20th, 2009 and December 26th – December 30th, 2009, other dates are available in January, February, March, and April, 2010.
